Back in November, the lawyers at Skeeters, Bennett, Wilson & Pike shared information concerning the Bluegrass Pipeline and a possible legal controversy for land owners in the pipeline’s path (read more here). We think it important to continue to update you on this subject and let you know last week the pipeline was officially put on hold.
According to an article from the News-Enterprise, Williams and Boardwalk Partners, the group behind the pipeline, halted plans because they could not find enough customers for the liquids.

As we talked about in our last blog concerning the pipeline, landowners in the pipeline route faced potential issues with eminent domain. To learn more about Eminent Domain, see our blog, Eminent Domain: What Every Property Owner Should Know.
